Those 1960 and 1970 graphic designers and typographers really set the bar high!
Take this album cover for example. Look at how bold that logo is and how “super” the colors look. There was no Adobe Illustrator to make this magic happen. And then look at how well this translates into Japanese. With nothing but their hands and probably a protractor these pioneers defined an era without programs that we rely on today.
I’m not sure if I would have had the skills to do what they did. Thank goodness I have photography. I know I would have been an album photographer instead.
